Who it’s for
To get the most out of this program, runners should be comfortable running 12-15 miles a week before joining the Half Marathon Pursuit.
This program is tailor-made for athletes seeking to elevate their running journey, including:
- Intermediate Runners: Ready to transition from the 10k to the Half Marathon? Our structured training plan will help you build endurance and confidence, setting you up for a memorable race day experience.
- Experienced Runners: Seasoned athletes will benefit from one-on-one coaching, community, and dedicated strength training to make your runs even better. Whether you're chasing a new personal record or seeking a fresh challenge, this program is designed to help you reach new levels.
How it Works
This small group is limited to 15 athletes. When you sign up, you'll receive a training guide detailing your workouts and rest days for all seven days of the week, for the entire eight-week program.
Your group will meet for one run day and one training day in the studio each week. Studio days will focus on strength and mobility, ensuring you're well-rounded and injury-resistant come race day. Plus, you'll have unlimited Open Gym access throughout the eight weeks for any extra training you desire.
The Benefits
- 12-Week Session: Commit to eight weeks of dedicated training, culminating in the All-Out Kooky-Spooky Half where you'll run alongside your fellow athletes. Your training guide includes agility days, long runs, in-studio strength workouts, built-in rest days and more.
- Cross Training Approach: The program blends outdoor running sessions with strength and mobility work to elevate your running capability. On strength days expect squatting, deadlifting, pressing; all designed to enhance your mechanics, optimize efficiency and output, and reduce the risk of injury.
- Expert Coaching: Receive individualized guidance and feedback from Coach Alyssa, who will tailor the program to your unique needs and goals. This program comes with free access to the Train Heroic app where you’ll be able to track your progress, connect with your group, and ask Coach Alyssa questions throughout the program.
- Accountability and Support: Stay motivated and on track with the support of your fellow athletes, creating a positive and empowering environment for growth.

Check Out a Sample Week of Workouts
We'll meet up twice a week as a group. One day, we'll hit the pavement for our run, and on the other, we'll gather in the studio for some focused training. Plus, you'll get access to a training guide that lays out exactly what you need to do every day for the whole eight-week stretch. When we're in the studio, we'll be working on building strength and mobility, while run days are all about clocking in those miles to get you ready for your 10k.
